Terms of service
Last updated August 27, 2026
These terms govern your use of SiteIntact, a website-monitoring service operated by SiteIntact. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
SiteIntact monitors websites you configure: availability, performance, security posture, and SEO health, with alerts, status pages, and reports. Monitoring reads the public surface of the sites you add — it does not require, and you should not give it, credentials to those sites.
Your responsibilities
Only monitor websites you own or are authorized to monitor on someone's behalf. You are responsible for the accuracy of the addresses you configure for alerts and reports, and for keeping your sign-in credentials to yourself. Do not use the service to probe, load-test, or attack infrastructure that is not yours — that is grounds for immediate termination.
Plans and limits
The free plan covers one monitored website. Paid plans, when introduced, will be announced with their limits and prices before anything is charged; a free account created today keeps a free monitored site. We may adjust plan limits with reasonable notice. If a workspace's subscription lapses, its data becomes read-only rather than deleted.
Accuracy, honestly stated
We work hard to make monitoring accurate — confirmed-failure checks, challenge-page detection, gaps shown as gaps — but no monitoring service observes everything. Checks run from a limited set of network locations, and an unreachable check is evidence, not proof, of an outage. The service is provided "as is", and our liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 for free accounts.
Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the infrastructure, or monitor sites without authorization. On termination, the privacy policy's deletion timeline applies.
Changes
If these terms change materially, we will note it here with a new date and tell active accounts by email before the changes take effect.
